“ Great experience... For starter we ordered the Onions Rings, the Jumbo Fried Mushrooms and the Fire-Kissed Wings.... Everything Delicious. For main dish we had the "Jack's Best"... OMG... the ribs are juicy and tender, the burnt ends are delicious and all the sides are good. Don't forget to order desserts... Tha carrot cake and the cream brule are finger liking good. Thanks for a great dinner ”
“ Nice place w nice decorations and nice staff and good food. Cheesy corn was good minus bacon bits bc I’m mostly vegetarian and wish they had a non pork based one. They are great to have beef ribs and they were huge and juicy. They also have lam ribs but it was smaller and fattier. They also have pork ribs. Our server Hake was very good who was attentive and nice. It’s an upscale BBQ place where you can bring staff from work here. The side of broccoli w garlic 5.99 was so good. It was a bit salty but the fresh high garlic flavor with cheese flakes was perfect and even better dipped in the cheese sauce together. The non alcoholic drink “smoky orchard” was so good w ginger. One thing I prefer different besides an option for cheesy corn w no meat... the BBQ sauce was not hot spicy which I like but it had something like paprika which kind of muddled the flavor of a tangy sweet BBQ sauce I usually love. If they took that paprika like sauce part out I would have liked it better. Parking is free and ample and they also have parking for bikes and Tesla charging. ”
“ Long time ago I went to the day two of this place being open. The beans were outta this world, I remembered them like yesterday. The burnt ends are fall apart perfection. The big dinosaur rib is soooo tasty and filling. EVERYTHING on the menu is good, and their sauce is so good I've ordered it from out of state a few times. Recently I was able to come to town and swing by. Everything is how I remember, except a little better across the board. Don't even bother with other BBQ places. It's KC and if you can open and stay open for nearly 20 years, and have a nearly 5-star with over 5k reviews? Point made, case closed. This is the ONLY BBQ place in town I look forward and the BEST tasting in all of Kansas/KCMO. My girlfriend agrees too, she's a foodie too. The staff is all on top of their game and very good at what they do. ”

“ In town for a volleyball ball tournament and we chose Jack Stack for our team dinner. Zero regrets. They had the large group reservation seated prior to our reservation time, all the staff are very friendly, and really good fast service. To top it all off, the food was excellent. Great work! ”

“ It isn't very often that I'm so inspired to write a review of a restaurant. When on a trip from my residence in Houston to Kansas City for business. I decided to indulge in another culture's BBQ. I had the two Meats combo with pork ribs and beef burnt ends. I know some of the criteria by which these items are supposed to be judged at the world barbecue competition, and in terms of texture and done this and those sort of things the ribs were as far as I could tell without flaw. However I have had better ribs. And they pale in comparison to the beef burnt ends. And like I said the ribs were technically perfect however it was the burnt ends that actually carried the soul of this meal. And what I mean is when you get to the point where a piece of beef is both perfectly yielding on the inside and slightly crunchy on the outside with a flavor so far beyond expectation, you know a piece of somebody's Soul found its way into that meat. And this does not happen by accident. Once again the ribs were technically perfect but the beef burned ends carried the soul of this meal. Also I was well taken care of by Dominic at the bar, which is where I sat. ”
